What is the method of payment?
On-line reservations are to be paid by credit card. If you would like to pay by cash, we recommend you to do so at a Travel Agency. A list of our partner agencies can be found at the „Partner Agencies” section of our website.
Where can I get the invoice for my paid transfer?
If you make an on-line reservation, you'll be sent a Reservation Confirmation E-Mail, with the invoice attached to it as a PDF-file. When your transfer is organised thru a Travel Agency, they will hand out the invoice.
When making an on-line reservation, why do you accept credit card only?
The reason behind accepting credit card as the only valid payment method, is that this way we protect ourselves from taking fake orders and thus, wasting the passengers' precious time with unnecessary stops.
Why do I have to be there at the airport 2 hours before the flight departure time?
The 2 hour time interval for the check-in was determined by the airline companies, not us.
How am I supposed to request a children safety-seat?
Please leave a message stating Your need for the children safety seat in the "Comment" box, with the number and age of the children.
Do I have to pay additional money for the children safety-seat?
No you don't, it is part of our service, free of charge.
Can we use our own children safety-seat?
Of course you can, if it can be fastend with our vehicles' seatbelt.
How will I know which minibus is mine, which one is to pick me up?
Please walk up to our AirportShuttle Desk, there you'll be informed by our assisstant.
Do I have to print out the Reservation Confirmation e-mail?
It is not necessary. The only verification method of your payment is to input your Reservation Code upon arrival, at our AirportShuttle Desk. You can save it to your mobile phone, write it down on a piece of paper, the only important thing is to input your code without error.
If I cancel my reservation, will I get a refund?
We truly are sorry, but there isn't a way to cancel an on-line reservation, neither can we give a refund.
Is there a possibility to hand over my pre-paid and reserved transfer to another person?
Yes, it can be handed over to an other person, as long as the number of passengers and the location remains the same. Please note, that we can not hand out an updated invoice in this case.
Will there be other passengers beside me?
We operate as a shared-ride shuttle service, meaning other passengers will be collected from the same geographical area, given the situation their flight departure times collide.
Can I order the discount price MALÉV passenger transfer via phone or e-mail?
No. The conditions of the AirportShuttle-Minibusz and MALÉV discount price pomotional transfer are a valid MALÉV e-Ticket, a travel destination in Budapest and the successfull order and payment of an online reservation made through the www.airportshuttle.hu website.
Where can I find the MALÉV e-Ticket number, which I have to input during the reservation?
The confirmation mail sent from the MALÉV reservation website contains the e-ticket number, which is a 13-digit number, always beginning with 182.
How many promotional transfers can I book with my MALÉV e-Ticket?
One valid MALÉV e-Ticket is eligible for one reservation only, which can even be a roundtrip!
How do I know, when the minibus is coming to pick me up?
After the successfull reservation, we send you a confirmation email, containing the pick-up time.
What documents are required to use the transfer service?
To make a reservation, You need a valid MALÉV e-ticket number, and an online payment-enabled credit card. At the actual transfer, our colleague will only ask for your Reservation Code, which can be found in the confirmation e-mail, in the attached invoice and in the short text message (SMS) sent by our reservation system.
If the minibus is not there on time in front of my house, what should I do?
Please call our Call Center dialing the number (+36 1) 296-8555, where our colleagues are at Your service 24 hours a day.
